VitalConnect Appoints Amy Covert as Chief Financial Officer

SAN JOSE, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–VitalConnect®, Inc., a leader in wearable remote and hospital-based biosensor technology, today announced the appointment of Amy Covert as Chief Financial Officer, effective August 8, 2022. Covert brings more than 20 years of experience in this position, in public and private companies, mainly in the field of health. She joins VitalConnect from HoverTech International, a medical device company, where she served as Chief Financial Officer since 2019. At HoverTech, Covert was responsible for finance and accounting as well as the operational organization which included manufacturing, procurement, customer service and logistics. Prior to HoverTech, she held various financial leadership positions at BioTelemetry, Inc., a remote cardiac monitoring company.

Covert received his master’s degree in business administration and a certificate in accounting from Villanova University. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and International Business from Pennsylvania State University.
